Alton Scott is a native Floridian, raised in a community just outside of Orlando, Florida. He's a graduate of Florida A&M University where he earned a bachelors degree in mathematical sciences. His professional career began in banking where he spent five years prior to entering the insurance and financial services industry. After ten years in the industry, he formed REAP Insurance Group, LLC, a full-service firm based in Land O Lakes, Florida.

Alton is the adopted son of wonderful parents who instilled in him a moral foundation of love, compassion, and sacrifice for others. Those principles have shaped his personal and professional ethic. Years ago, Alton's father suffered long term injuries following a car crash returning home from visiting his grandmother (an Alzheimer's patient). Because of the challenges he's faced becoming the custodian of his father's affairs, Alton has experienced the devastating financial and emotional effects that come in the absence of financial planning. It was those realities that eventually led him to his purpose in the insurance and financial services industry.

Alton is blessed to be married to his loving and devoted wife of over twenty-two years. Together, they are nurturing their two young children with the same principles that molded their childhood.
